Staff except below were brilliant. Location excellent. Room small but comfortable and bed just great for sleeping. Would stay again - was there 7 nights. Breakfasts OK.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly except one on check out desk and he looked like he did not really want to talk to anyone. I checked out with a female staff - no issue and went across to where this man was putting some bags in an area for holding bags. He finished with the people he was dealing with and I was standing 3 foot away with my bags - obviously wanting to leave them there and he completely ignored me and went back to desk. I threw my hands in the air and a lady staff noticed but he just carried on totally Rude which is not Japanese nature at all and he also need realise it is us - the customer who pays his wages. In a whole week in Japan, this was my only unpleasant experience. I have a photo of him I can send if you email me. Despite this I will return to the hotel as I was impressed.
Clean, conveniently located, nice design in the rooms.
The staff speaks barely no English. The small double room is very small.
Good location for shopping
1) Hotel has no services at all. It is just rooms and small reception. Breakfast is served in a nearby public bar. Forget about any kind of other service. 2) NO WI-FI ANYWHERE IN THE BUILDING. Only LAN cable connection in the rooms. 3) Very RUDE and UNFRIENDLY STAFF (shocking for Japan!). Most of them do NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. 4) Extremely small rooms (also for Tokyo standards), definitely OVERPRICED.
Food, service and overall atmosphere were all very good. Price was very good by Tokyo standards.
The price was a little high for the room size, but not a real problem.
